Onions--bulblets, seeds, or starts?

    2ofus, your onions look really great. Have you googled your onion question? It may be weather related? I know there is an answer out there.

    We just lime every few years to replenish the calcium that is depleted by the garden plants !!

    Starting the onions from seed last year seemed to solve the multiple onions growing together and also the tears. I like the way they last all year hanging in my basement also. I do appreciate all the suggestions and the time you spent to help me. :like:

    Yesterday, I set out 6 garlic cloves. Cloves from our garlic harvest of 2015.
    I always set the garlic out in early October and i t has grown quite well, but
    I decided to try a spring planting, just to see which grows better.
