I found this little thing growing amongst my azaleas. It's a very thin plant, with variegated salvia-like leaves, and thick stalks emerging from the base of the leaves that hold little pinkish/violet flowers on the end. After the flowers have bloomed, they drop leaving the pea-like pods behind, to split and release small fluffy seeds to be dispersed by the wind. I am not sure that I have seen it before, and its peculiar shape and delicate structure have me intrigued.

I think it is a weed quite common here in Essex....but I have no idea of the name. I get it all over my allotment. Hopefully someone will come up with the answer for you soon.
