Please identify this plant. Was purchased at a nursery in Houston but the salesperson was unable to identify the plant. It is simply beautiful but as it grows even more beautiful I get a lot of inquiries of "what is it". I'm tired of saying I do not know :'( Thanks Garden stew!!

The closest I could find is the Houttuynia cordata 'Variegata'/Chameleon Plant

Sorry, I take Iresine back, I think it's Alternanthera ficoidea 'Party Time.'

Purpleinopp, thank you. The common name of the plant is "Joseph's coat". I am so thrilled to finally know what it is!

Thanks to everyone else who gave it a shot. You are all appreciated.

Cherylad...I have houttuynia cordata growing, a rambly little ground cover that seems to be happy in sun or shade.
