Hi all. Please view this as a little extension to and in co-ordination with the Topic "Pottery and Porcelain". I have sent pics but have more and different including Jugs, Teapots, Figures, Platters etc to send (to Pottery and Porcelain) which I am sure will be of interest. Those previous pics were mainly individual items - this is another one off camera exercise to show where/how some of it lives and is displayed. Please do ask about any of it such as age, Pottery etc and I do have several Books of Marks so could look any up for you it you post a pic - not guaranteed that but will do my best. Syd.

Hi all. Long time no see - a variety of reasons why - hope all are well. Along with the garden and other interests have carried on with the study and collection of Pottery and Porcelain. The main interest before was blue and white of all types but have now added various patterns of cup saucer plate trios, jugs, vases and figurines - these of the older decoration/dress type. Are the other collectors still at it?. Can send a few pics if wanted. Syd.

Syd, what a wonderful New Year's Eve event--you are back!
I am still enjoying pottery, but not buying much (lack of room). But, if you post pictures of yours I can vicariously enjoy collecting.
    I wish you a very happy 2015.

Hi Jane, Eileen, all. Thanks so much and great to be talking to you again. Like yourself Jane I am getting a bit pushed for space but still squeezing the treasures in. Will be very pleased to send some pics but first have to remember how to go about it. Eileen I do believe you are a collector - of birds and recall your love and care of them - wonderful - I do likewise. Great to hear from you both. Many thanks. Syd.

Hi all. Sorry about the pics - not as clear as I would have liked. I have struggled to get them down to a size acceptable to the site. On my old Win XP PC there was a really good resizing prog but this Win 7 has not one.
Hank thanks for your kind words - best wishes. Syd.

    Welcome back Syd!

I have a set of china handed down from my grandmother. It is of German make. Wish I could find some replacements.

Hi CM. Thank you and how so very nice to be talking to you once more - I did so enjoy the little natters (your chats?) we had. The subject of Pottery and Porcelain is endless I think and totally fascinating - added to the gardening gives me plenty to enjoy and think about and thats without the photography etc - keeps me out of mischief. Would like to see a pic of your German porcelain if you would. Best wishes. Syd.

Hi all. Ref the pics I sent yesterday I will if I may send some individual ones of a few of the figures - they need to be seen as close as poss to see the fine detail and care that has gone into making them. Syd.
