recycled old fake tree into wreaths

    Made these wreaths out of old fake tree instead of throwing it away, have them for years now add something often, this year added candles, that's a french horn in the middle, was bress but due to tarnishing etc., I painted them white

    Those are very nice, and so sensible of you to recycle your old tree. The horns were very striking inside them.

    I wish I'd thought of something like that last year Susie as I threw out a 6 foot artificial Christmas tree!!! :( I love the idea you had of incorporating the French horn. Really beautiful. :D

    I like that idea of recycling,, i try to recycle everything that can be. I guess you can say i like anything that won't an don't hurt the earth. Very very nice work, thank you for posting,, an well done recycling!!!! :stew2:

    Lovely, especially hung on your doors like that, the color contrast is very striking. Great 'reuse' of an old bit of decor, I'll have to keep it in mind.

    Lovely wreaths.
    I also use the branches to make winter greenery arrangements.

    I did too and sprayed some with fake snow, for on top of my breakfront....put lights on etc. they work great!

    Those are beautiful wreaths, much nicer than most of the pre-made ones I've seen in stores,
    and a great re-purposing of an existing item - ecological, economical
