Royal Poinciana tree bloomed this year.

    Royal Poinciana tree bloomed this year :setc_005: . It will hold for 4-8 weeks. Creating a high umbrella look. It took 4 years to bloom :eek: . It has been threw a lot in the last 2 years with 3 hurricanes. Thought at one time it was going to die. I think that's why it took so long. Here is one of the flowers that came off.

    You have one too?? Well, Why didnt you say something!!!! I have one that Im growing from seed. Did you grow yours from seed? I would LOVE to see a pic of the tree!!!

    Such big blooms! I cant wait!

    I would love to see the entire tree at three years old how tall is it .Pinkiered has me really wanting one bad,That bloom is so big and oh so beautiful.

    I was going to take a pic of the tree and it started to rain. The flower has rain drops on it if u look closely. After building the house 5 years ago I just planted everything I saw and loved and never took names. I'm learning from this site tho. It's a lot of fun too.

    We really would like to see the whole tree!! It must be a gorgeous site!!! We can't stand the suspense!!!LOL!

    everytime I read this topic I get soooooooooo excited about my own tree!!! I CANT WAIT!!!!! That is definatly worth waiting 3-4 yrs for!!

    Does anyone know how many times the tree will bloom in a year :?: I though 1. Its blooming again :setc_005: The tree is fuller too :-D .

    I would love to have about 8 of those in my yard .That is a beautiful tree.I wish Pinkiered would fine a moment to up date us on hers .

    Thanks for posting this. It looks great. Some people consider this to be the most beautiful tree of the tropics.
