Deep beneath a Kansas wheat field, hidden from curious eyes, is an ultra-secret research facility. It has but one product. Of course they will totally deny its existence and what they produce there, with good reason.

Late one night there was a knock at the door. I was awake reading posts on GardenStew. I was about to turn on the light when a voice said "No lights, we are leaving you a package." They walked back to a dark van, got in and drove down the street lit only by the occasional house light. They were soon out of sight. On the doorstep was a plain package with my address printed on it.

I took it inside, shaking it gently.....nothing. I gingerly opened it. Inside was a paper labeled 'INSTRUCTIONS' and a plastic bag labeled 'SEEDS.' The seeds were weird as they were rectangular and about a quarter inch long....colorful.....red, white and blue. I read the instructions, twice, "interesting," I said to myself, "I can't pass up an opportunity like this." I followed the instructions which I am not allowed to reveal.

Anyway, the seeds have sprouted and I will soon have pie crust.

But don't tell anyone, it is suppose to be a secret.

It's not the rhubarb, it's what is underneath. Part of the directions had me plant the pie crust seeds under a rhubarb plant. This message will erase itself in 18 hours.
