We have a young deer, still with its fawn spots, visit frequently. Today, just after lunch, the deer showed up, had lunch on plants and a tree, and stuck around for a while. I'm trying to convince my husband to get deer corn and spread it around. He refuses, saying that the deer are not an endangered species and are doing fine on their own.
Young deer.jpg Darn, that deer is cute! I wonder if it likes pasta and homemade bread . . . .

I'd be happy to send you a herd of deer (Is that what you call a group of deer?). Might be a challenge to get them into a UPS vox though.

Deer and antelope come thru lot … the damage to plants and property makes so much extreme work and some damage I just can’t repair anymore.

Both of you have some nice photos!

I miss having deer. We just have bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks, here. They're feasting on raspberries. I keep seeing the squirrels and chipmunks around my raspberry patch. At least they left the potatoes alone, this year.

I’ll pay for the shipping and send all my deer…they are great at trimming trees and shrubs.

That's such a great picture, Pac! When my kids were young we'd go to the San Juan Islands in the summer. We had a base camp and go island hopping during the day. One year we decided to camp out on Jones Island for a change. We were eating lunch at a picnic table when a couple deer came walking over. (They're very tame there.) I had cut up some apples, so one of the kids decided to feed the closest one. They both came over and then one of them decided it would be easier to just go for the whole bag. And that's just what he tried to do!

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool. When I got to work this morning I actually heard some kids talking about it.

Hey! I just noticed, I am now, "In Flower"! I wonder when I went from "Seedling" to flower.
