I was given clippings from a Summer Lilac a few weeks ago. I dipped them in rooting hormone and potted them up. I can't seem to find any info about this plant. Actually it's a very neat and tidy tree with pointed long leaves. Does anyone know if this is the correct name and if I started it correctly??? I really love the tree. It's pretty.

Thanks domn. This little tree is a beautifully shaped sort of free growing one. I hope my little starts work. Allot of them were woody but I used everything that the fella gave me. Since I didn't have any knowledge on it.
