Thanks Eileen, I know you live in scotland, so I was thinking about you when I posted it. I will go to Scotland one day to trace the trail of my ancestors.

I quite liked this vid. It is sort of like a docu.
How did you ever manage to stray so far from home, mate?
I enjoy historical things. This was a good one.
BTW--what was the original purpose of this vid?

Sjoerd, to answer your question, I think his purpose is to link the past present and future. Searching my familly and ancestors has started to turn into a real passion. During my research, I tumbled on one of the videos by this guy, who is a history fanatic, he is my cousin, He makes a lot of videos and he has a certain style. I have been researching my great grandad dr. George Prentice who was a missionary doctor for 30 years in present day Malawi and after making contact with my cousin in Scotland, he was able to send me a fair bit of info and some pictures of my familly. After my great grandad retired, he farmed in Zambia and my grandad too. My familly is really interesting, I can post more if you guys are interested.

This is my great grandad, the famous missionary doctor. I have been trying for years now to find out what he looks like.

Agnes Tudhope Scott Prentice and family.jpg This is My Great Grandmother Agnes tudhope Scott with her four children. The youngest is my grandad.

I will make a blog about my familly on gardenstew if you guys are interested. Many of them are gardeners or farmers.

I see what you mean, Odi. It is interesting to see old pics and hear the stories that go with them.

Well my greatgrandma actually had 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. 2 of the girls died at 10 years old, the oldest girl, however lived to 93.
