    This bewick's wren is a favorit of mine. They have been around here for a few years now. They did nest one year in a camelia in some kind of pot. bewicks wren.jpg

    I have a nesting pair scoping out the birdhouses out front. Last year they nested in an birds nest gourd after the male built a nest in 3 or 4 of the regular birdhouses.

    Beautiful little bird...we used to have a wren nesting in our yard but last year he didn't show up in the spring. I kept listening for him all summer and I did hear one in the distance but he never came here to sing...his song was beautiful...I hope he comes here this spring...:fingerscrossed:
