We are having more sunshine, but at least today is not windy. Wish we had some rain. I'm not a person to wish for snow but it would supply some moisture. Dooley

Another sunny day. Weather report says 65F today. No rain in sight. I had to water everything yesterday. Think we may have water restrictions again if we don't get rain. A lot of rain. Dooley

Hi Dooley , Light rain here in Dublin today had to stop work in the garden. You seem to get a lot of dry weather there , do you have a rainy season ? or is it mostly dry all the time . Hows the herbs going? ;) Bugs

Our rainy season is July thru Sept. But, we didn't have much rain during our rainy season this year. We should have a small rainy period in February and March. This is when we got a lot of rain last year. Usually we get a little rain in Dec. and Jan. but not an appreciable total. The months of May, Oct. and Nov. generally have no rain. But, we are in a period of drought. last year was an unusually wet year so it relieved the drought some, but it doesn't look like it lasted. Arizona is one of the driest states, along with New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Texas. Snowpak in the higher elevations helps, but there hasn't been much snow anywhere in the state this year. The only water we have coming down seems to be from the shower. I read a long range forecast today. It predicts that it will be warm and sunny through May. That brings us to June and the summer rains start in July. It has something to do with the northern jet stream being too far north and the southern jet stream being too far north. We seem to be caught somewhere in the middle where neither reach. Since I am now 65 which "makes me old" I guess I will have to find an unbrella to poke people with. I don't need to find one to keep me dry. If it rains here we all go out to play in it. Dooley

I've been backwards and forwards to the garden today picking things out of the pond and staking down small trees and shrubs. Sooooo cold with these gale force winds. At least the rain is staying awy!!! :)
