For once we actually had some sunshine here today. There was no heat in it though but so much nicer than all the rain we've been having of late. :D

I only just looked at the thermometer. It's only 26F which is very cold for us. It's 9:30 AM so it should be warmer. I don't think it will get out of 40's today. I sure hope this don't last. At least the snow is gone. It didn't last the day yesterday. I would stick by the fire again today but I have to work at the library. Dooley

Good to see you all gardening , we will have to get Frank outside and get his hands dirty :) The weather was good here again today 8 or 9 c . The gardeners here in Ireland , Wales, Scotland & England should have a good day tomorrow with temps predicted to rise , possibly 12 to 14 c. So get down and get dirty 8) Bugs

Well there was the most gorgeous red sunset tonight. The sky was on fire! Took daughter number one dancing, and we walked and she couldn't take her eyes off the horizon. Red sky at night, Emma's delight! :)

    most unusual weather

Yesterday was about 50 F.--20 degrees above normal for this time of year. And sunny, another unusual occurence. I saw a dandelion and some johnny jump-ups in bloom. Except for snowdrops there is usually no hope of seeing anything bloom until March, at the very earliest. I have never seen anything like this here in January and I'm pretty old (but not too old to be astounded by nature).

Bugs your predictions haven't come through here yet. Currently 10 deg C, dull but no rain and the moment. I got wet walking into the city yesterday :( I wish I could fly like my avatar, much quicker.

Wish you'd had a camers handy EJ for that sunset. I collect sunrise/sunset piccies and hope to make up a large, framed picture of them all which, in itself, will look just like a sunset. Getting their slowly but need plenty more pics.

Weather here is dull and gray today but at least it's not raining at the moment.
I managed to clear the strawberry bed this morning. :D

Thanks for those Frank - they're breathtaking. I've already saved the site to my favourites. :D

Think I'm going to need quite a few colour cartridges - pity they're sooo expensive and don't last too long.
