My friends and I were talking last night about the spiraling cost of oil and I wondered how much it costs in your area , here it is 115 cents per litre .
Give me the prices in Euro , Sterling , Dollars etc.
and quantity in imperial, metric and I will do the conversions . Looking forward to your replies 8) Bugs

The price of petrol here is (on average) around 97p per litre!!!

Diesel is even more expensive at approx £1 per litre.

I found a couple of websites for doing the conversion from litre to gallon and pound to dollar. Whoa, I think I will stop complaining about how much gas costs over here.

The average price in our neighborhood is $3.00 per gallon. If I did the conversions correctly that equals 79cents per litre

 Already I'm amazed at the differances . i should point out that there is a major differance between the U S galloon and an Imperial gallon , also euro cents and u s cents . Scotland is the dearest so far ( Eileen says :scheming: ) 8) Bugs

Somehow I guessed poor old Scotland would have the dearest fuel - it always seems to be the way of things. :'( We can (if we shop around a bit) manage to get petrol at 94p per litre. We're thinking of trading in our petrol 4x4 and going for an ordinary diesel model as it's much cheaper to run.

I was in town this morning and it was $2.66 US per gal. that's down from $2.79 US per gal several days ago. We haven't hit $3.00 a gal yet this year.

I just paid $2.79 a gallon here - it's still fluctuating up and down a bit. Unfortunately, those who live in large places that take a lot of driving can't exactly just bike or walk where we need to go, and my area has only a mediocre bus system... Ah well, at least my car (an old station wagon) is paid for, so the gas kind of like my car payment, in which case it's not so bad.

I amended this Catkins to take into account the price of petrol v diesel . Now Eileen has the dubious honour of paying the most .
Eileen pays almost 2 1/2 times what Capt. Kirk pays . According to the news this morning things will only get worse .

I cant seem to find the price on the web for diesel in this area, although the garage in our village is £1.08, thats because its a small business, my other half says that adsa are currently knocking out diesel for 97-98p.I suppose thats going to change soon though :'(
