Ahh, the weekend is finally over. Work at the hotel was full of hockey families and Manitobans. It was a pretty lax weekend there, but I am glad it's over.
My seedlings are doing great. The only one I am waiting on to sprout is the Delphinum. I see something coming up on one, but the others are taking some time. My viola and tomatoes are popped up and doing well, but some thinning will need to be done...I wonder when it's safe to do that?
I just purchased an African Violet to stick under my plant lights. I read up on it, so hopefully i'll get some blooms out to see what color it will be.
The snow is just stacking outside like crazy. I guess we are in for a couple more days of snow. At least it was the last time I checked. Oh well, I guess it will be march real soon. So I don't have too much time to wait for this weather to take a complete turn-around.
I will be putting on pictures later. My room-mate is playing the Sims on my computer with the pictures on it. : )
Until later, Mike

So, I have decided to embark upon the adventure that is growing a garden. I have come to this decision not only for bounty and beauty, but for the ever-so fulfilling act of hobby. A hobby that doesn't include me spending time sitting in front of a computer screen for hours leveling up my Blood Elf shadow priest on World of Warcraft and making sure I always have the leet gear and skill to pwn the childish alliance. I will continue to play, but gardening will bring me back to the natural aspect of my life, which, in the cold winter, seems almost forgotten and blurred along the white and gray of the current vista.
I started some seeds a few days ago. I drove to a store and bought some number of seeds and some rad seed starting kit. After planting, I went ahead and set them by the window. I realized this wasn't going to do it so proceeded to think of a new plan. Again at the store, I managed to find a plant light and a new shelf to go into the office of my house.
Today, some seeds of my /b/ collection of plants have sprouted. ...Sigh.
