Grass Hasn't grown much this year

We haven't had much rain this year. The grass hasn't grown much. Some people's lawns are dead in places. We have cut our lawn fewer times this year than any year. We really need some rain.

Roses

My roses are always so branchy. The branches reach the top of the eaves on the roof and across the sidewalk. I would like to have it less branchy. It is about time to prune it. I will prune it back in a few weeks since it is starting to get colder since fall is here. I hope that helps.
