A Visit to Chicago...and an idea I must copy!

Every time we go on a trip, we try to get to the local botanical garden. This is a dangerous thing, as my idea list grows, as does hubby's to-do list!

I have a bare concrete wall about 6' high on the south side of the house that I must copy this idea.






There were many wood structures we liked, but these clay pipe inserts were very nice. I'll have to copy that idea at some point also.

Reiman Gardens Butterfly Garden

We visited Reiman Gardens in Ames, Iowa April 29th. Their climate is just enough colder than our's that not much was in bloom yet. But the butterfly garden was entertaining as always.

Reiman Gardens, Ames, Iowa Part 1

Reiman Gardens is located on the Iowa State University campus. The gardens cover 14 acres just south of Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.

A few photos from our visit Sept. 6th.
