No riding today....RainMy husband and I purchases motorcycles in May 2006. We both have 2006 Suzuki Boulevard's with mine being a S50 and his is a C50. I absolutely love riding. There is nothing like riding on a country road with the wind in your face and thinking of only what is ahead of you. I will be using this blog to write about our trips we take or whining beccause it is raining or to cold to ride. A motorcycle ride was planned with other bikers for today but was rescheduled due to rain. We were looking forward to meeting other bikers and seeing the Talimina drive. It is resceduled for October 28. I will let you all know if we ride. Well, going out to the garage to dust off the bike and stare at it for a while and wish I was riding. Looking forward to your bike riding stories Grdngal :) What made you both first decide to take up motorcycling?
My husband rode bikes when he was much younger and had always talked about riding again. Well, it took me 3 years to think about it and on a boring day I mentioned going to a motorcycle dealership. The next day we had bikes.
Just like that! I admire your spontaneity :)
Randy rode motorcycles when he was younger. I rode behind him when we were dating, then we married and I quit riding. He asked me why I never rode with him anymore a couple of years into the marriage I told him I didn't need to, we were married now. I know sometimes he misses the wind in his hair and the bugs in his teeth.
I never rode one and another little story, not gonna.I do admire anyone who does.Kevin had a Honda Rebel(Classic) he loved it.Dirt road we live on shook it to pieces. It is really rough and gets worse as the winter sets in.
I never rode one either. We live on a dirt road so I know how it gets when it rains. Yuck!I did ride a bicycle though. That's about my speed. Dooley
I was a biker for 42 years. We just sold our bikes 2 years ago. in 1973, I spent one entire year on the road, camping, and visited every national park in the country. I look forward to your biking stories grdngal. Login or register to leave a comment. |
