SerenityI have always loved the outdoors, but Winter has never been on my favorite lists. This morning I sat on my front porch, awaiting birds to my feeders,with some Hot Apple Cider and my thoughts. The sun was just starting to envelope its golden rays through gray skies upon the houses, animals, and people going to work.I watched the squirrels scamper around working hard at storing food for winter, while the ground is still free of white blankets. I thought about all the people still tucked cozy and warm in their slumber cocoons of pajamas and blankets. I thought about how my Dad used to say to me "Don't sleep the day away!" (When I was in my teens) Now as I begin my 30's, I understand what he meant. I have been missing the serenity of Winter mornings. This blog entry has been viewed 322 times
