Well today's the day.

Category: A little of this and a little of that. | Posted: Fri May 18, 2012 12:41 pm

I have finally gotten up the energy to plant our veggie garden. I have been reading up on companion planting. Very interesting. Did you know that carrots and tomatoes do not get along well. The tomatoes will stunt you carrots growth. You will still get carrots. But they will be smaller than normal. I also have found out that you can spray 3% hydrogen peroxide on plants that have fungus to kill the fungus. Yippy! I love doing things as green as possible. Our peach trees have been attacked by curly leaf fungus. They will be getting a bath with the hyro today.
I found all this info on a neat website with a lot more neat natural ways to deal with all kinds of garden problems. Check them out--www.ghorganics.com Well I better get those veggies in the ground. Have a super day.
