I am who I am...![]() If I'm not mistaken, this was taken last year. It is rare you will find me with my hair down with makeup on. I'm an overalls and tank top sort of girl. Hair in the bun, sans makeup. I have too much work to do to spend time fussing in front of the mirror. Life is short, wrinkles are inevitable. May as well enjoy! May of 2007 I'll hit the big 42. Hubby and I have been together for just over 13 years now. My two sons and his daughter form our trio of children. Tyson is nearing 21, as is Jackie, while my other son is going to be 16 this summer. We live in Northeastern Oklahoma, close to Muskogee, Tulsa, Tahlequah. Gardening became an obsession first, then a job, as I developed our own website and began selling plants, seeds and other garden delights. Each year my business grows, and while I'll never hold a candle to the big boys, I'm having fun and meeting many wonderful people along the way. I look forward to making many friends in this adorable community site. Karen Marie This blog entry has been viewed 672 times

Karen you are a very beautful
I love your hair. And I to wish you the best on your business.
Hi Karen, from the UK. Hope you have a great time here. I know how demanding it can be being your own boss - but if your job is your hobby, that's a big bonus. I wish you much continued success in the future.
Well said Pete, job being hobby = happiness!
Lovely to meet you Karen and be able to put a face to a name. You sound as though you have the ideal life being your own boss and having plants around you every day. Long may your success continue.
I have not been in your neck of the woods in years. Since David Hall was mayor of Tulsa. And strangely connected Robert Goldfield was and may still be an administrative law judge in OK City. Wow, old memories.
You have the dream job Karen. I want to start selling plants on a small basis and gradually work it up to a second job.
Just wanted to update to thank everyone for such a warm welcome.
