First seedlings

Category: Hydroponic Garden | Posted: Thu Mar 19, 2009 8:26 pm

It's been really neat to see my seeds actually growing! I get teased about having a 'black thumb' because in the past I've dealt with un-medicated ADD and remembering to water plants gets boring after about a week. ;-) So, I have unfortunately contributed to many a plant's death in my day until I gave up. But, now the whole family is into it, including my 3-year-old who keeps me on track!

Close Cucumbers ( photo / image / picture from MelodyB's Garden )

These are the cucumber sprouts. I've got a teeny-tiny tomato sprout, and I just noticed today after a day in the sun I've got some more seeds sprouting, including some of the peppers! I'm excited. I had almost given up. Good thing here in sunny FL I can put the seed trays (egg cartons) outside during the day. They get lots of sun!

Oh those seedlings look so healthy Melody. As Frank says not so much a black thumb now but a green one I think. I hope all the rest of the seeds you planted grow well for you. Great to hear that even your three year old is getting the gardening bug!!
