Onion sets are in

Category: First time allotment owner | Posted: Sat Apr 04, 2009 8:15 pm

My onion sets are now in, I think that is it for a while, just waiting for things to grow before we plant out. I think we are going to make a start on the greenhouse, we have now decided that the potting shed area will be in the lefthand side as you look at the photos, we are going to get some ply board 8' x 4' which should cover the sides and leave some glass in so we have plenty of light coming in, we will put clear corrigated plastic on the roof again for light.

This is what the potting end of the greenhouse should look like.

Gosh you've certainly got lots of space in your greenhouse. The potting shed looks the ideal size with plenty of more space for plants within the greenhouse itself.

Hi Eileen, I was thinking of putting the potting area at the other end of the greenhouse, then thought about having to keep walking past the plants and may be catching them with tool.
