Vines

Category: Garden projects | Posted: Wed May 06, 2009 9:38 pm

Hello, I'm Tammy from mid MN. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a vine that will climb up a large, smooth pillar to the trellis 10 feet above. I can plant it in the ground and it is in full sun. I just planted annuals in my 1 annual garden, a mix of petunias, begonias, zinfandel, snapdragon along the wall in back of everything...it is sooo beautiful!! Yes, it was a long winter, little things like beautiful flowers excite me!!

Wisteria would probably be a good choice to go with what you have in your garden, but be careful as it can become out of control if not maintained. Would love to see pics of your garden if possible. :)
