Rosa Vicks Caprice

Category: Roses and Garden | Posted: Tue Jul 14, 2009 10:33 am

I was enabled to purchase this rose, not only is it a wonderful striped hybrid perpetual, it is supposed to be very winter hardy. A reported sport of 'Archiduchesse Elizabeth d'Autriche' which you can sorta see, since the base pink looks similiar.

Jbs are here, so getting good picks for the next several weeks will be harder. Not much new going on, still alot of annuals waiting to bloom. But our one month banishment to the english climate put us weeks behind up here.

Congrats! Looks like a beauty to add to your collection. I hope it is winter hardy too -- it is too beautiful to lose.

These are such beautiful photos. Do you mind if I ask you what kind of camera you use? Barbara

Its a Minolta Dimage Z2, with 4.0 Mega Pixels, at the time it was a very expensive camera over 300 bucks , by todays standard , its not up to par. However, I cant justify paying for another one yet. It does ok most of the time, it hates certain colors in the wrong light. I hate having to play around with the color scale to fix that on anything.
