Sunrise, through the foggy, mist filled air. I took several pics from my back deck, but this one captures the mood...

Single White large datura, opens evening and closes before noon the next day... Fragrant and lovely...

Dianthus Siberian Blues

You have to try this one at some point! Really more purple/lavender than a blue.

Blazing Stars (Liatris) (took me three years to wintersow succesfully, dont ask me why as they should be easy germinators!)

I believe this is Coreopsis tinctoria or plains tickweed. I think I wintersowed some anyways =).

That fog photo of yours is lovely. I also like your flowers a lot. Wish I could smell your Datura.

thats a great picture of the sun coming through the trees. I also bought some blazing star last year but they didn't return for me this year.

Great shots Silverkelt! I love the Datura bloom too.
It took me almost 3 years to get my Liatris to grow...I finally realized they were late to emerge in the spring. Definitely worth the wait, though!

Beautiful portrait of your woods. Daturas are kind of exotic. wish I could grow them. The Dianthus is pretty and fresh looking isn't it. Thanks for sharing.
