So I attempted to propagate about 10 lavender stems. Dipped in rooting gel then stuck them in small pots of potting soil. They wilted and turned fuzzy moldy. Ick.

I've propagated lavender before but this is the first time I tried it from root gel to soil. Now I have about 30 lavender stems that have been dipped into rooting gel and are now soaking in water for a few weeks. This seems to be the best method that I've experienced with so far! Here's hoping....

Fingers crossed they all do well for you. What a pity you lost the first ten though.
