Famous lady visited yesterday

Category: A great lady visited the store where I work yesterday | Posted: Wed Jun 25, 2008 5:16 pm

I was at work yesterday and this famous lady Elsie the Bordens cow visited us as her handlers stopped for gas on the way back to Dallas. She is such a beautiful lady and oh so friendly. She sure rides in style too. This is the 30th generation of Elsie. She is a beautiful Jersey cow.

I do hope you enjoy the pictures.

She did welcome me with a mooooo.

On her way out of the drive she seems to be saying goodbye.

She sure rides in style in a beautiful rig.

The things in my yard this week

Category: My yard this week | Posted: Thu Jun 19, 2008 4:29 am

I found this butterfly in trouble.I sure feel sorry for it but the spider had to eat too.

You would think this would have been a lesson to the others but I guess not.

These are my blooms today and tonight.

The white and wine hybiscus is taking off really good.

This hybiscus is so deep color wine but the picture shows it to be red.

The White night blooming Datura.

This is one of a bigger Datura plant this plant seed must have been tracked over to this part of the yard last year as my main plant is on the opposite side of the yard.

Another yellow glad is starting to bloom a little late this year. The apricot sparkle that got broke
some how is now about to bloom again.

One of my moon flower vines is blooming tonight. It also is struggling from wont of a good rain.

This is my mamoth sunflower but the flower is not as big as they usually get but with no rain it hasn't grown like usual.

My mandavilla is trying to start blooming. Two blooms
today. One in the morning and two tonight.
