It rained today. The garden is happy and so am I.
Maybe the beans will benefit.
String bean production has been very slow.

First Fruits

This week, (Thursday and Sunday June 25, 28, respectively) I harvested the first fruits from my vegetable garden, five zucchini and a few green beans.

On Sunday I discovered wilted squash and cucumber plants in the garden, see photograph of these. I must begin the chore of regular watering in the garden!

My oh my, time to sweat profusely in the garden and harvest every other day.
