Happy 43rd

I heard the "birthday"song early this morning on my voice mail and again over my speaker phone (both my mom) and it brought laughter and tears to my eyes... Yes I am a grown woman but the child inside of me is still here..she is peeking out wondering where the presents are, the birthday cake (and hoping the amount of candles will not end in a 911 incident) and thank goodness no one here likes clowns (they are creepy). The only problem is, I am home alone with my puppies, the husband is at work, the son is at his dad's house and my family live many miles away from me. Now don't get me wrong I am far from spoiled but this is my 43rd, at least it wasn't my 38th or 40th when everyone forgot my birthday until several days later. I guess I am thinking way too much of my father (may he rest in peace) and my family at this point but I have been in tears for much of the day. I got on facebook for a minute, answered all the birthday greetings and then got back into bed and remained there until just a few minutes ago when the need to write something compelled me to include this blog in my suffering/pity party.. I don't know that anyone will read this and maybe a small portion of me is looking for some kind of rally of sympathy but to tell you the truth that is not what I want, I could not tell you at this point what it is I really want other than to vent some of these feelings that are welling up inside of me at this point! I appreciate this forum because it brings all the beauty of nature to me when I am unable to see it myself and it allows me to communicate with other people with the same desires to communicate through the beauty in our gardens. Weekend
Category: Ideas | Posted: Tue Jun 01, 2010 12:18 am Ok so this weekend was a total waste when it comes to my plants and garden...I did not get much done but now that my son is home for a few weeks I can get some of the stuff done that I need to do. I get to go to my first chiropractor visit in the morning, 9 am really is early for me! I did nothing but laze about all weekend cuz my back is still not doing very well. I cannot even play the games that I like to play online because it hurts to sit upright for any length of time....oh well.... I am going to get my roses done this week and that will make some of my garden stress go away.....yay! This blog entry has been viewed 309 times

Avon Store is OPEN YAY
Category: Ideas | Posted: Sun May 23, 2010 3:33 am Well I did it, been thinking about it but now I done gone and did it! I opened my Avon store online! I am so excited, I used to sell Avon when I lived in Tennessee and got out of it when I moved here..I miss it! The bonus is that I can keep customers from Tennessee and they can order online and have it shipped directly to them. Wooo Hooo just thought I would share this! Category: Moans Groans and Complaints | Posted: Mon May 17, 2010 8:36 am Ok so I am finally feeling better, gonna make a chiropractor appt in the morning...not really too sure about it, I am actually kinda scared but I am sure that if my doctor said "go see him" then I surely should try at least once..... Category: Moans Groans and Complaints | Posted: Sat May 15, 2010 8:01 am Ok so far I am taking prednisone and it is making my sleeping habits totally whacked!! I sleep all day and stay up until the weeeeeeeee hours (5am) of the morning....I usually work 2nd shift so that is not the real problem....the medication I take for my back is not working and it is making me sleep most of the day away...I will have some really hard times when I go back to work for sure! Ok done ranting now, gonna go work on some spanish and get my mind off this...good night all and sleep well, I know I am not! This blog entry has been viewed 329 times
Climbing Roses and Lilac Hedge

Rose Trellis
