I like the silvery white leaves of Dusty Miller. However, I hardly ever see Dusty Miller used in gardens or containers. Has Dusty Miller gone out of style?
A plant you 'pass around' extras of to friends when it outgrows it's location. Quite a few of our members grow it... Centaurea cineraria (Dusty Miller)
toni i'd never heard of the plant so googled it and the pic's of the plant are lovely and the different shapes they're in besides hedges.
I use to put it in my containers all of the time, I really like it in them... I use to have so many out , at least 30 containers but with living by the lake, we want to fish a lot this summer. We just fish on shore, we don't plan on buying a boat or anything. Just don't want to spend the money on a dock at this stage of our lives. I will hang onto my containers for at least a year and then decide. We have a great thrift store in town that would appreciate them.
Sherry your thinking the same as myself mate but I need my hubby to drive me there and rig up ...never been able to do that
