We had a deer visit last night, having a late night snack of bird seed. We like deer, and enjoy seeing them in the pasture, but we have ripening pears. Deer seem to like semi-ripe pears even better than bird seed! The image is dark, but the deer are afraid to come out in broad daylight for fear of being attacked by our cat.
