It's been sunny all day but now the cloud is coming over, might get some rain at 6pm. With a gentle breeze from the east south east temp 24c feels like 24c.
Thunderstorms started at about 11 am. 64°f- 76 high. It's supposed to rain for most of the day. I just hope my tomatoes don't split because I gave them 2" of water thursday night, it rained 1 5/8" on friday, no rain yesterday but, we expect another 2" today. Perfect storm for splitting your 'maters !!

We were forecast rain from 2am (this morning) until 1pm (11hrs ) , so I optimistically emptied out all the cold frames..big one as well and placed all the plants on the long potting ' bench' in anticipation of them receiving a good soaking.....as what has now become the norm....we are still bone dry! Our 6 large water butts are completely empty so really looking forward to seeing some rain clouds gather overhead...soon please. Currently 14C.

Well just got home...the rain that was indicated on our forecast has disappeared .... again!!! Not a drop of rain to be found on it for at least the next 2 weeks....hopefully that will change . Just finished watering all the plants that I had left out overnight. Cooler today but nicer at 19C ( feel like 21C).
We got 2 1/2" rain yesterday !! More rain expected today and again on tuesday. Only a few tomatoes were split . This year we have April Showers in May.
Our last rain...well light drizzle ( just under an hour 's worth) was during the last week of March. About 9 weeks ago ! Since then we have been teased with occasional rain symbols on our forecasts that mysteriously disappear.
That's pretty close to what I experienced in March. Watering with city water weekly was necessary here.

So very envious of anyone having rain @Logan .....albeit light and in small amounts. Sunny start to our day again. Just listened to the early breakfast news and the forecast mention how the South had heavy thundery showers yesterday......wish our garden was informed!! No rain on the cards for our area today but I'm going to go outside and see if I can spot those 2 blobs of rain that are apparently hovering north of our area, keeping everything crossed they might drift down towards us nearer the coast.

Have to admit to having a gloriously sunny..and dry day yet again today . Mid afternoon black clouds loomed in the distance and on the local evening news it was reported that heavy rainfall in Winchester caused flash flooding......it's only 5 miles away from us, haven't they heard of sharing!!!
