It's been sunny all day but now the cloud is coming over, might get some rain at 6pm. With a gentle breeze from the east south east temp 24c feels like 24c.

Thunderstorms started at about 11 am. 64°f- 76 high. It's supposed to rain for most of the day. I just hope my tomatoes don't split because I gave them 2" of water thursday night, it rained 1 5/8" on friday, no rain yesterday but, we expect another 2" today. Perfect storm for splitting your 'maters !!

We were forecast rain from 2am (this morning) until 1pm (11hrs :smt026) , so I optimistically emptied out all the cold frames..big one as well and placed all the plants on the long potting ' bench' in anticipation of them receiving a good soaking.....as what has now become the norm....we are still bone dry! Our 6 large water butts are completely empty so really looking forward to seeing some rain clouds gather overhead...soon please.:fingerscrossed: Currently 14C.
