    Clay— good result. We are always looking for new ones. Do you know which beefstake it is.
    That Tom looks lovely; however, I imagine I see heat damage to it— a form of “green collar”. Do you see it? It is the light streaks. When you cut into the Tom, these areas mat be green or whitish.

    I try not to use these effected areas in my sauce. They are hardish and sometimes bitter.

    Anyway, I am just waffling-on. Perhaps you do not notice or mind this phenomenon.

    Pac—I enjoy seeing your fall bloomers. Are they close to each other, or in different plots? So lovely to see.

    You can see that the trees in the background here are not changing colour yet.
