The thyme is growing crazy also..it's in nutrients and so is the cilantro..but both still in their soil pots..the roots are in the water..

Try the pepper sprays and see if that works..not too much
I got too happy sjoerd and put a little too much nutrient in this last batch from 1/31/16...will post pics soon..meanwhile...the kale is finally...

Those are hydro Clay pebbles..very light and lets the roots breathe. Also helps stabilize the plant
Cayenne or black pepper and water or canola oil in a squirt bottle. Remember to always spray one leaf first to make sure it doesn't do anything...
