When tulips grow outdoors, there are some tulips that do have the capability of the petals opening wide.
It is nice to think about Daffodils. Currently I have a customer who I am planting an occasional daffodil bulb between tulip bulbs.
@Sherry8, Were you able to buy replacement reddish brown mums?
You could divide the daffodils after the flowers have begun to dry. Once you plant the daffodils you dug up, let the foilage dry.
