The hummingbirds were quite active, so of course they flew away as soon as I stepped outside with my camera. So...a few flower photos got taken...
They seem to come and go here, never staying the whole season. Hopefully this gal is gathering to nest here! [img] [img] [img]

I've been watching two baby cardinals the past month, and they are quite humorous, and perhaps a bit too trusting. They don't even seem to care...
I know we've all seen poppies before, but I just loved the color of these (red is my favorite color btw). [img]

I lose a few roses each year, usually because I try to grow roses that I probably shouldn't in my zone. Newer hybrid teas don't seem to do well...
I love the Penstemon! You wouldn't have the variety would you? I haven't seen that color yet here.
Lovely...I really like the Apricot Parrot tulip, I'm always looking for unusual color combinations. Will have to keep an eye out for that one!
