    sure it's a mimosa/silk tree ???

    The 'hairs' as you call them is what made me think of a fern. I don't know what kind, but I have seen many types that have the brown fuzzy 'hairs'...

    I'm certainly no expert, but it doesn't look like any mimosa tree that I have ever seen. Looks more like some kind of ferm.JMHO

    The blooms from first day of June...

    Tina, those are all very pretty...oddly enough I like the holly...it reminds me of cooler weather. And we won't be having any for a long time! :(
