I like that ground cover too. But I will have to learn more about hostas. So, they cross pollinate? That's very interesting.
I think I have read that planting marigolds near the veggies keeps rabbits, or something away -- can someone else say what it is? I can't...
I was wondering about the Empress Wu too.. Also, Droopy -- what does it mean when you say the Stitch is known to "revert" easily? I can see why...
Beautiful....
I agree too. Had it in the ground in Chicago yard and it came back well each year. Takes over if not careful.
Rained here all day today too, by the way...
Glad to hear you're there safe and sound Glenda. I hope Heather's time is easy in the hospital over the next weeks.... Keep us posted.
That is good... Could you hear the dry ground slurping it up as it fell?
Great news!
How about that... This is great! I just checked out the before and after photos in the photo galleries. They are really effective.
I know they can cause trouble but they sure are pretty to look at. She looks like she's listening with one ear.
Thank you EJ!!!
Just remember with Iris, the rhizomes do not like to be deep AT ALL, unlike bulbs. You really barely cover them. They can be split pretty easily...
LOL, anybody else up for some adventures in hot pepper-land?
Well. Personally, I would be unlikely to buy most of those specialty meats but I'm not opposed to them being sold. I think it's great to have so...
I think I would be afraid to try it -- somehow I just have a feeling it's like a little hot pepper bomb! Will you tell us how it is when you try it?
I have the same problem. I have a little length of wire edging that's about 18 inches tall that I put in front close to the stems and let them...
Thank you Toni... that goes for me too.
I enjoyed it too. Hoping for some more.
Great find, for sure! Reader's Digest guides are great resources -- at least the ones I have about home repair.
