I shall have to make a lot of effort this year, and get some plants moved and divided to make proper room for them all. Some Aquilegias have to go...
Definately a rose of some sort. I'm no good at roses, but hopefully somebody will manage to ID it for you.
Just look at that magnolia, lovely. And your lantanas are so lush. :D
Oh, drool and double drool! I can't possibly manage to pick a favourite. I think I need more photos to help me make my mind up. :D
Well spotted, glendann. I didn't even see that there. You've got keen eyes.
I don't think it's a poppy either. It looks like some sort of small-bloomed rose, but would like a shot of the leaves to make certain.
Adorable. I'm so glad it bloomed for you. :D
It's an Iris sibirica I think. You can read about it here: Iris sibirica (Siberian Iris)
Absolutely amazing. What a sight to see. I would have been slightly scared, but enthralled I think. Thanks for remembering your camera. :)
As far as I know they won't bloom until mid-summer. Here they bloom later than that, because our spring's late. Hope this helps.
Very nice show indeed. :D You've got a lilac in there that I'm planning on buying since it's so different from the ones I've got already. Those...
A very nice bird indeed. So nice of you to share it. I'm not very fond of herons as a rule, since they make the most horrid noise, but I do like...
I think I prefer my caterpillars as butterflies, come to think about it.
On my way! I'd love to paint for treats.
Thank you very much for that last batch of photos. Weird, wonderful, delightful and a bit of celebrity. What more could one ask for?
I am thinking I would like to hang a couple of old boots on the fence and check out how long it would take the neighbours to figure out what I was...
Lovely photos, Sjoerd! They're such sweet little birds. I do like them. Maybe they'll hang around and help you get rid of some more pests. That...
Haha, I just had a big laugh! I'm grateful because it's warming up. Palm Tree is cold, and we've got just about the same temperatures. :D
Good morning all, it's warming up a bit again. 12C/54F this morning, lots of wind and grey, but dry so far. I hope it lasts, the lawn needs...
Isn't it fun to have contributed? It looks great. I hope they'll win the record.
