Welcome to the Stew from the coast of mid-Norway. :stew2: I'm so looking forward to following your progress on your overgrown plot. It's such fun...
For how long have you had them? They are very good at self-seeding.
They're such pretty colours. :D Enjoy them, you've probably put them in the perfect spot and given them perfect care.
All I know is that it needs a lot of light but not direct sunlight. Maybe the young leaves will come out green and change colour as they mature?
We make that trip every year, for when the play park opens. Besides it's the only way to go if we want to go to Oslo, so I'm rather fed-up with...
I have to disappoint you there, Biita. You're too late. All those lovely, yellow blooms were grey and ready to blow with the wind when we came...
I think you would have loved it, Biita. :D
Thank you all for liking "my" mountains. :) The reason my darling husband won't stop is because the scenery changes with every bend in the road,...
Awww, they're so cute! :D I'm partial to black cats myself. Must be the witch in me.
Thanks all! It's good to be home. I've got something like 500 photos to sort through, and am not certain as to which ones to show. I think maybe...

Thank you. :) The trip takes about five hours if you go non-stop. We didn't and used about eight. One way.
I promised to snap some mountain photos, and here they are: The day was part cloudy with a bit of rain and sun in between: [img] [img]...
Welcome back, egoreise. Sounds like you're off on a good start this year. I hope this will be a nice gardening year for you. :stew2:
Good morning all. We've got wind, rain and 12C/54F today. I'm off to check the horses and then back to clean the house. Enjoy your Monday all....
Nice fence. :) I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble you got when you were buying it.
Ah, so you don't call them flowers? We do, even though they're not. We also call the cones the tree's fruit. Then I've already learned something...
Looks like Rumex acetosa, sorrel. Biita will tell you all you need to know about how to make them into delicate dishes. "If you can't beat them,...
