    I've seen it called Mullein Pink here as well. I once saw a mass planting on the high side of someones ditch in full bloom...it looked awesome!

    Kind of hard to tell, but it reminds me of Rose Campion. Have a look at the photos and tell me what you think Lychnis coronaria (Rose Campion)

    Wild growing ground cover thing/bright blue flower stalks

    Yup, Ajuga. I am fond of Ajuga even though it is invasive. It's a good, tough, drought tolerant ground cover and the blue blooms are an added bonus :)
