Welcome to the forum! We'll have you doing "exterior design" in no time. Looking forward to reading your posts.
Welcome D! All of us have killed plants in our gardening lifetimes. It just means somebody sold you the wrong plant or gave you bad information....
No Daisybeans, it's not ignorance! Soaking seeds is just one method, perhaps a good one, perhaps not. I soak big, hard seeds for 24 hours because...
When I stop laughing I'll share this with my husband! Thanks, Eileen!
Azaleas are such a great shrub--colorful, easy care, and bloom their little heads off! I wish our soil was acidic enough to support azaleas, but...
Glenda, remember that snow is to look at, not to go out in! Looks like you are just getting a skiff of the white stuff. Hope that's all it...

We started with 1 year crowns, and have a lovely asparagus bed. In fact, I recently posted about cutting the first asparagus of the season. Here...
If I had one of those, I wouldn't be constantly trekking back and forth from the vegetable and flower gardens to the house, barn, and workshop!...
Red Robin Hood is a musk rose, grows to 3-5' tall. The width is about 3', so planting them 2.5' apart is too close. RRH is a rebloomer, resistant...
And I thought I was the only one that "over planted!" Thank you for telling me I'm not alone (alone with my 26 tomato plants and four rows of peas...
Sometimes tired is such a good feeling! I'm a mite tuckered myself, but grinning still!
