**2 oddities how do i explain these

I took these in a church yard the like of which ive never seen before has anyone a clue what they are please thank you poppy :-?

 

Yes...the top one is the Centaurea macrocephala

and the one underneith is a Phlomis russeliana.

hee hee hee...no problem Poppy--I have grown these two in my garden in the past, so I knew them right away.

This is what the upper one will look like when it's blooming:

 

Right thank you i will have to go back, how long do you think before it flowers like yours

 

Poppy...I can't say. I do not know where you live or what the climatic conditions there are...nor how the seasons go.
When they look like yours do now, the next thing that you will see is a little bit of yellow breaking through the center... then it will gradually get bigger and bigger.
If I had to guess, I'd say 2-2½ weeks longer.

 

Those will really be stunning in full bloom.

 

Will they i wont miss them ill put it up in the album when i get it
