My first and second. I believe they are Burpee Marketmore or Beauty.

Which length is best? I thought the firstn which was over 8", was too much...

I harvest mine when they are much smaller, so I don’t know which is a better harvesting strategy for you. I am sure they will both taste good. They may have some seeds, but you can sorta eat around those.
    Looking good.

Thats about average for slicers ! Pickling cucumbers are shorter ! But you can pick them at whatever size you like !

The last 2 pickings I had invited my wee neices over, so I neglected to take any pictures.

    20210729_101649.jpg

The last time, about 4 days ago, they went home with about as many green beans and we picked 5 cucumbers.

Of the 5 cucumber plants at this stage, we've gotten about 15 fruit so far. I have another:
    - 2 plants 3 weeks behind the first 5; and
    - 3 more another 3 weeks behind these 2.

So, hopefully, when the the first plants start to peter out, the new ones will be ready to start bearing fruit.

PS - Amazing how of a seed packet of 50 seeds only about 20% survive to bear fruit o.0

PPS - Of course, a lot of it is no doubt down to my newbishness.
