These were all taken In Gent, Belgium at their 5 yearly flower show. Stunningly beautiful orchids in these two shots. Bonsai's. I love this dwarf wisteria don't you? Shots from around the 4 halls. This first one is constructed to resemble the burning crater of a volcano!! One more batch to go!!
Bonsai, bonsai, I love them, ever since I saw Karate Kid I love the volcano arrangement as well, very clever. I cannot begin to imagine the preperation that went into this event. It must have been staggering. When were these shots taken Eileen? Off to see batch 3
They were taken on Thursday of last week on a very wet and miserable day. Pity really as the sun coming through the roof and slanting of the special mirrored panels would have made a big difference They were set in such a way as to reflect the light onto certain gardens and arrangements. I think it would have looks wonderful.
