Someone gave me some seeds that we thought were hyacinth bean seeds and this came up instead. Does anyone recognize it? [/img]
The leaf looks like that of Ricinus communis, the Castor oil plant and extremely poisonous it is too!
Yep, that sure is what it looks like. Grew a lot last year. They are poison! It is what they make ricin out of. But they make gorgeous plants..just don't eat any. Mine grew to a whopping 11 feet tall.
Thanks Deb and Palustris, I might better get rid of it. I have 2 little dogs and one of them likes to eat plants. Jo
