Those are gorgeous. Mine are yet another victim of the heat and not being able to water but twice a week. Don't think I will be planting them again.
thanks toni, i guess im lucky here in the uk, a shower is never too far away :-| they love the heat, is it ridicuously hot there??
We have been having temperatures between 105-110f (40-43c) for most of the summer. No clouds, low humidity and no rain for 73 days, water restrictions mean I can only legally water on Wed and Saturdays....so they just really didn't have a chance after the beginning of June
Those are gorgeous. I had some last year that did really well... but they just didn't come back strong this year. I do like them and plan on getting some more.
wow thats crazy hot!!! im struggling here in the mid 20's!! i can see why you can't grow them now toni . . thanks to the rest of you. . im a big fan of gazinia now, so easy to grow from seed. . . i think they will be a regular feature in my garden :-D
Will enjoy yours. Mine are long gone. Even watering often. Had in containers. But 108* and winds. Will plant them in ground next year.
