Hi Bosque,..your right,..that is a species of California Poppy,..nice bloom,..i like your water feature :).
I see your Hydrangea,..its looking very healthy,..is that a Delphinium starting in the round black container?,..leaves look similar,..i see a yellow bloom on the Nasturtium,..it likes water so its in a good spot,..you are getting together a good selection of plants,..what is that in the second picture?,..at first i thought by the leaves that it was a Hollyhock then the bloom got me stuck :)

    Thanks Hank.
Philip, that plant in the round black pot is a perennial geranium i just dug up out of a flower box that has been overrun by creepimg phlox. I didn't want it getting swallowed up. And that purply plant is a melva. They come up from their own seed every year. I really like them, I think of them as miniature hollyhocks.

Yes, just a small one. My goal is to surround the whole parameter with flowers. If most of what I planted grow and flower. It should be quite a site. Im not asking for that much am I?

Hi Bosque,..that would be great,..too late to sow any of them for this season but no Hollyhock Rust would be a bonus,..i do have Hollyhocks but am winding down with them due to the rust,..its a full time job trying to keep the rust at bay,..if you see anything growing in my garden that you think i will have seeds from let me know,..come to think i will make a list of the seeds i do have and you can put your name on them :)
